The altar guild is a group of dedicated people who prepare the altar for all Sunday services as well as special services such as weddings and funerals. They are committed in this job for the love of God and church. The altar guild does many things behind the scenes that most people do not think about. They clean the altar linens; clean and polish the silver, change candles, banners and other hangings. As an altar guild member it is an honor to be in the sanctuary and prepare the altar for the Lord’s Table.
