Welcome to St. George's!We welcome you in the name of Jesus Christ. The people of St. George's and the clergy want you to know that ALL are welcome here. We are a small church with a big heart. If you are searching for a community of faith where you can explore questions about life, grow in your relationship with God, experience his love and grace in your life, and work to make a difference in the world by serving others, St. George's may be the church you have been looking for. We gather every Sunday to celebrate the Eucharist. All the baptized, of any age, are welcome to receive Holy Communion at the altar rail. The Episcopal Church worships using the Book of Common Prayer, rooted in the riches of the Christian Tradition, while remaining open to contemporary expressions of the faith. We sing God's praises using the Episcopal hymnal supplemented by With One Voice and Lift Every Voice and Sing. (We offer Sunday School at 9:15 AM September through May 11; not during the Summer.) St. George's has a strong tradition of service to others. We work in the local food pantry. We support local and national organizations that assist the poor. We have sent volunteers to Mississippi to repair homes damaged by Katrina. In 2008 we celebrate one hundred years of witness and service to the greater Hellertown and Saucon Valley communities.
